I’ve been working on a new theme over the past couple of days. No, not for myself. I’ve finally managed to find some time to work on a new theme to release. It’s nothing special in terms of design or theme. It’s just something for me to release. It’s a simple theme (no sidebar, no bottom area either) and concentrates solely on the articles of the blog.

I’m in the middle of doing the miscellaneous styling and adding some custom styling as well. But as I said, it’s nothing special. What this also means is, my previous theme releases, suchislife and Simple in Pink, will not be receiving any more updates. They will remain available for download but will be provided as “as is” themes. I don’t have the patience to continue updating them so people can simply do as they please with them. Rip them apart! Whatever. And on that note, suchislife has received almost 1,000 downloads. Pretty good considering it’s a fairly shabby theme! I’ve also seen some fairly cool modifications of it, but I’ll post about that another time.

This also means I will have more than just this new theme to release. I will be working on a few themes in the coming months.

The theme I’m about to release is called “PocketT”. Mind you, it has nothing to do with pockets themselves. ;) It will be available at PocketT in a couple of days (depends on how things go).

Side note: I’m going to continue working on my redesign after I release this theme. That also means I won’t be doing any additional updates around my site until the new year so most of you will have to wait to see some additions to my portfolio and other areas.
